1. About these terms
These Terms of Use govern your use of =0 (also known as GuiLing, 归零 or 歸零), our game services, and this website. The service is provided by the developer of =0 (“we,” “us”). By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Agreement to these Terms does not by itself grant consent for tracking or any processing that requires separate consent. Questions can be sent to liangjiyun0828@163.com.
2. Eligibility and player identity
You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age required in your location. If you are below the legal age of majority, use the service only with permission and supervision from a parent or guardian who has reviewed these Terms.
The app creates an automatic player identity; no email/password registration is needed. This identity is associated with an identifier stored on your device. It is not a cross-device login or a guaranteed recovery method. Changing devices or resetting device data may affect access to your identity and scores. Do not impersonate another player or attempt to use their identity.
3. Permission to use the game
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use the app and website for lawful, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms and applicable App Store usage rules. We and our licensors retain ownership of the game, artwork, audio, software, and branding.
You may share your own gameplay screenshots or recordings for ordinary personal commentary, provided you respect other people’s privacy and do not imply official endorsement. This does not grant permission to redistribute the app, sell our assets, or use our branding as your own.
4. Runs, timing, and rankings
The game uses number and operator tiles to form expressions equal to zero. Expressions are evaluated from left to right. Instructions in the app describe the current rules and available tools.
- An online run requires a connection to our services. Timing begins with the first successful tile selection in the first stage. Time between stages and time while the app is in the background count toward the run.
- A completed run requires both stages to be cleared. Restarting returns you to stage one and resets the run. Unfinished runs are not guaranteed to survive app termination; the current version does not restore them after reopening.
- Results are submitted to and validated by the server. A completion screen or local timer alone does not guarantee that a result has been accepted or published.
- The leaderboard displays the best accepted result per player and refreshes periodically. Earlier accepted results can remain when new puzzle versions are introduced. Puzzles may differ in difficulty; a rank is a game result, not a guarantee of directly comparable conditions across every version.
- We may reject, correct, or remove results affected by invalid actions, cheating, technical errors, or a substantiated data request. Contact support if you believe a decision was mistaken.
Rankings have no cash value and do not entitle you to prizes, payment, or a permanent position. Availability, game rules, and puzzles may change as the service develops, subject to any notice or other rights required by law.
5. Fair play
Do not manipulate timers or results, submit fabricated game actions, exploit another player’s identity, disrupt our servers, bypass access controls, scrape personal information from the leaderboard, or use the service for unlawful activity. Do not use automation to create fraudulent rankings or excessive requests.
Do not submit abusive, unlawful, or infringing feedback or content. You remain responsible for content you submit. We may use your feedback to troubleshoot or improve the service without treating it as confidential commercial material, while handling personal information according to our Privacy Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits reverse engineering or other activity that applicable law expressly permits.
6. Ads and external services
The app may display third-party advertisements. Ads, linked websites, and third-party services are controlled by their respective providers, and their own terms and privacy practices may apply. An advertisement is not our endorsement of a product or a promise about its quality. Use judgment before following links or providing information to an advertiser.
You can manage Apple tracking permission in iOS Settings. Declining permission does not guarantee an ad-free experience. See the Privacy Policy for details.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service usable, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or permanent storage of every result. Network issues, maintenance, updates, and external provider outages may affect play, ads, and rankings.
We may update or discontinue features, and may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, or legal requirements. Where practical and required by law, we will provide notice and an opportunity to raise a concern. You may stop using the service at any time and contact us to request deletion of your player data.
8. Responsibility and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without additional warranties about fitness for a particular purpose or continuous availability. We are not responsible for losses caused solely by your misuse of the service or by events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Your mandatory consumer rights, data protection rights, and any statutory remedies remain unaffected. We do not require you to waive those rights or agree to mandatory arbitration.
9. Apple platform
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple does not provide the game’s support or maintenance. Use of the app is also subject to the applicable Apple Media Services Terms and usage rules. If Apple’s standard end-user license agreement applies to your download, it continues to apply; these Terms do not override mandatory platform or statutory protections.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the applicable app-use provisions and may enforce them to the extent required by Apple’s terms. For assistance with the game itself, contact us.
10. Questions and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, this choice does not remove mandatory protections in your country or prevent you from bringing a claim before a court available to you under applicable law.
11. Updates to these terms
We may revise these Terms as the game or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice where required for material changes. Changes apply prospectively, subject to applicable law. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the service and contact us about your account or data.
If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
